There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Liga MB. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from San Salvador: San Salvador (#3) and Salvadorenos (#5). Salvadorenos were defeated at home 64-79 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. San Salvador forced 20 Salvadorenos turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Brayan Garcia (194-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Puerto Rican guard Victor Carattini (185-1992, college: PR-Bayamon) contributed with 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Marcos Menjivar (190-2004) replied with 15 points and 6 assists for Salvadorenos. Salvadorenos' coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Salvador have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Metapan. Salvadorenos lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Independiente. San Salvador is looking forward to face Santa Tecla (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Salvadorenos will play against Independiente (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Liga MB top team - A.Lobos (14-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Santa Ana (4-10) 95-54. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of forward Sean Scott (190-1997, college: Pfeiffer) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Marc Montavious who added 14 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Sam Dorissaint (198-1994, college: B&S Buffalo) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. A.Lobos have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-2 record. Santa Ana at the other side keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. A.Lobos will play against San Salvador (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Santa Ana will play against Ahuachapan (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Izalco supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Metapan (13-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Brujos (6-10). Metapan smashed Brujos 117-82 on Saturday. The winners were led by Yoel Cubillas who had that evening a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 6 assists (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds by Allon Johnson did not help to save the game for Brujos. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Metapan moved-up to second place, which they share with San Salvador. Loser Brujos keep the seventh position with ten games lost. Metapan will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Brujos will play against Cojute (#4) and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 16 Cojute beat Santa Tecla on the road 106-94. Metapan destroyed Ahuachapan on its own court 112-71.
The most impressive performance of 16th round was 27 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists by Xavier Zambrana of Metapan.
